Milestones

Only four days before the start of the 2019 World Championships in Seefeld, he was informed that he would join the national team as a replacement athlete. He started on home soil in the sprint final, finishing 56th, without any World Cup experience at all. In 2021, he was 11th in the team sprint (with Mika Vermeulen). (rofankurier.at, 25 Feb 2019)

Competed at three U23 World Championships (2018-20) and two Junior World Championships (2016, 2017) where he was a member of the 4x5km free relay team that finished 14th in 2016 (Rasnov).

Best World Cup finish of 13th in the team sprint in December 2020 (with Tobias Habenicht) and earned his first World Cup points.
