Milestones

Made his Olympic Winter Games debut at PyeongChang 2018 in two-man (28th) and four-man (15th).

Three top-10 finishes in five appearances at the World Championships, in 2017 (eighth in the four-man in Koenigssee) and in 2019 (fourth in the four-man, eighth in the relay in Whistler).

2014 Junior World Championships four-man silver medallist, with two more top-10 two-man finishes (fourth in 2012, eighth in 2014).

Finished a career-high fifth in the four-man season standings in 2018/19 with top-six finishes in all eight World Cup races. Posted his only World Cup podium appearance that season in Lake Placid in the four-man, 0.13 seconds behind Canada's Justin Kripps in the top spot and 0.03 seconds ahead of German Francesco Friedrich in fourth. In the two-man event, he was eighth with four top-eight finishes in the first four races of the year.
