Athletics: Competed in sprints, javelin, and cross country at Morgan State University in Baltimore, Maryland (USA). In 2015, he was part of the winning 4x400m relay team - qualifying for the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Regional meet, and won two medals at the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference Championships (silver in javelin, bronze in relay).
