General Interest

FROM GREAT BRITAIN TO JAMAICA
Began his bobsleigh career by representing his birth country, Great Britain. After the British bobsleigh team lost its funding in 2017, he took a break from the sport to focus on his education as a sports therapist, taking up powerlifting to satisfy his inner athlete. In 2021, he began training with the pilot of the Jamaican team Shanwayne Stephens, paving the way for him to join the team for the 2021/22 season.

“I am British born, although my father was born and raised in St. James, Jamaica. Growing up I fell in love with the country when I visited it at an early age. I instantly felt a strong connection and have decided to embark on this journey to give back to Jamaica what it has given to me, and as a tribute to my late grandparents who were born and lived in Jamaica."
