In 2017, her volleyball coach recommended her to two-time Olympic champion and former Swiss national team coach Christoph Langen, who was impressed by her speed and jumping ability. General Interest

SURPRISE SEASON
Was supposed to spend the 2020/21 season, her second full year as a pilot, trying to maintain a top-five position in the Europe Cup. Instead, she found herself re-evaluating her goals at the World Cup level, with a bronze medal in St. Moritz and a podium at the Junior World Championships, leading to a sixth-place finish in the two-woman overall season standings. “It's absolutely crazy. CHANGING SPORTS
Unknowingly, her volleyball skills fulfilled all the criteria for bobsleigh, not least because her jumping power is so impressive. She was discovered at a multi-sport camp by bobsleigh recruiters, who didn’t hesitate to try everything to convince her to join them. She not only made the transition from brakeman to pilot after competing for less than a season, she also won the Swiss Junior Championships in 2018. ROOTS

Milestones

Competed at two World Championships, finishing 15th in the two-woman in her debut in 2020, and was 10th in the monobob in 2021 (14th in two-woman).

Four showings at the Junior World Championships (2018-21). In 2021, on the same track a week after her first World Cup podium, she won bronze again.

In three appearances at the U23 Junior World Championships, she was fifth twice (2019, 2020), and seventh (2018).

In 2020/21, she was in the top-seven in the two-woman in five of six World Cup races, culminating with a bronze medal in St. Moritz on her home ice, 0.19 seconds from the top spot. The first Swiss woman to reach the World Cup podium in almost seven years (since Fabienne Meyer in 2014).
