Athletics: Started the sport at age 21 and competes nationally in heptathlon. Finished second at the Australian championships in the event for three consecutive years from 2016 to 2018. Also placed second at the Commonwealth Games trials, but was not selected to represent Australia at their home Games in the Gold Coast in 2018.

2019: Plantar fasciitis led to a fascial tear two weeks before the national championships in athletics, where she finished seventh.

Was approached to try the sport at age 29 after missing out on qualifying for the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games and suffering some minor injuries in athletics. (olympics.com.au)

Heptathlete Kylie Wheeler (AUS), who took the silver medal at both the 2002 and 2006 Commonwealth Games, and would compete in a race in Reddinguis's hometown and speak to local kids while she was there. "She would do really well in the sprints and she would do well in the 600 in the heptathlon, but she wouldn't necessarily win, but she was a silver medallist at the Commonwealth Games.
