Injuries:

January 2021: Tore a hamstring in the two-man race at the World Cup in Winterberg, forcing the team to withdraw from the four-man.

March 2016: Suffered severe ice burn from a crash in training in Winterberg after he had just taken up the sport and did not know to wear a burn vest. Underwent a skin graft and missed the next six months. (thebrakeman.org)

Milestones

Became the youngest bobsledder to compete for Great Britain in 62 years in his debut at the PyeongChang 2018 Olympic Winter Games (21 years, 129 days), with Brad Hall, Greg Cackett, Joel Fearon.

At the 2019 World Championships in Whistler, his fourth-place tie in the two-man (pilot Brad Hall) with Chris Spring (CAN), was the best British result in 53 years.
