“I saw (bobsleigh) as an opportunity to be able to be supported differently, be in a great team environment and learn something. I think I need that. I’ve been in sport a long time, so it’s about looking at what to make as my next challenge. To call myself a double Olympian, should that happen, would be another achievement and something which dreams are made of really. I never thought I’d have been to the Summer Olympics, but I have been. The next step will be the Winter Olympics, and being part of that exclusive party would be incredible.” (athleticsweekly.com, 2 Nov 2016)

:

To compete at the Beijing 2022 Olympic Winter Games. “Going to Beijing, it would be the icing on the cake. Everyone wants to be an Olympian, I've had the pleasure of doing that - once an Olympian, always an Olympian - it means a lot to me. For anyone who thinks their dreams are dead when they get older - it's not true." (sportsforchampions.com; eurosport.com, 14 Dec 2021)
