Athletics: Competed in sprints and long jump at the University of Maine. America East conference champion in long jump and 100m runner up in 2013.

American football: Played for the Southern Maine Raging Bulls, a AAA team, as a kicker, punter, and wide receiver after he graduated university.

2015 World Cup in Altenberg (Four-man - 13th)

Spring 2014: Anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injury ended his athletics career.

First introduced to the sport by his university athletics coach Dave Cusano, who had also competed in bobsleigh for a year.
