Milestones

OLYMPIC WINTER GAMES
At his debut at the Sochi 2014 Olympic Winter Games, he became the youngest Czech athlete to compete in bobsleigh (four-man) at 21 years, 258 days. At PyeongChang 2018, he competed in two-man and four-man.

WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS
Finishing sixth in the four-man bob in 2020 is the highest-ever result for a four-man sled from the modern-day Czech Republic and equalled the two-man best achieved by Ivo Danilevic in 2008. In the 1930s, a then-united Czechoslovakia won two silver medals at the event.

In 10 races at five Junior World Championships (2014-18), he won two bronze medals (2016 four-man, 2017 two-man), and had a total of nine top-10 results.

WORLD CUP
In the 2020/21 season, his third-place finish in the two-man and combined season standings is the highest result for a Czech athlete. Without recording a podium appearance, however, he ranked a distant third to Germans Friedrich Francesco and Johannes Lochner in both metrics.
