2019 World Cup in Lake Placid (Two-woman - 3rd)

2019/20: Suffered a severe case of influenza that led to pneumonia. Spent a few days in hospital, and missed the 2020 World Championships. She tried to return to training too soon, and ended up having to take a break from sport until June 2020.

Recruited to the sport at the German youth championships in athletics in 2018. "Things weren't going so well for me in athletics that year, and I thought, 'Ok, something new wouldn't be bad.'" (faz.net, 3 Feb 2022; taz.de, 20 Nov 2021)
