Milestones

Three-time World Championships medallist (two silver, one bronze). Won two silvers in 2020 (two-man, four-man), both behind compatriot Francesco Friedrich, finishing in the four-man 0.05 seconds out of the gold medal position. Four-man bronze in 2021behind Friederich (GER) and Benjamin Maier (AUT).

2017 Junior World Championships two-man silver medallist, 0.06 seconds from gold (with Nolte Pablo).

From 9 December 2017 (15th in two-man in Winterberg) until 19 December 2021 (21st in four-man in Altenberg), he did not finish outside the top-seven in a World Cup race across both disciplines. Finishing 21st in the Altenberg World Cup in 2020/21 is the only time he has ranked outside the top-seven in the four-man at a World Cup event in his career - and only one other time in the two-man, in his first-ever race in the discipline (14th with Nico Walther).
