Milestones

Made his Olympic Winter Games debut at PyeongChang 2018, finishing eighth in four-man (with Johannes Lochner, Christian Poser, Christopher Weber).

Has a full set of World Championships medals. Won two titles in 2017, in the four-man (a tie for gold between Johannes Lochner's sled and compatriot Francesco Friedrich) and the relay. Won the 2020 four-man silver (0.05 seconds behind Friedrich) and 2021 bronze.

Four-straight titles in the four-man at the European Championships (2017-20). Won two-man silver in 2019 (all with Lochner).

With four World Cup victories in the four-man in 2017/18, helped Lochner win the overall World Cup title over Friedrich.

From 24 November 2017 (a 20th-place result in Whistler in the two-man) until 19 December 2021 (21st in the four-man in Altenberg) did not finish outside the top-seven in a World Cup race across both disciplines. The 21st-place result in Altenberg in 2020/21 is the only time he has ranked outside the top-seven in the four-man at a World Cup event in his career.
