Her athletics trainer and members of the German national team recommended she try bobsleigh at age 16. Head coach Rene Spies recognised her talent immediately, and two weeks later, she was training in her new sport. (tagesspiegel.de, 20 Jan 2021)

“I am particularly fascinated by the combination of adrenaline and concentration. At the start, you go full throttle and as soon as you sit in the bobsleigh, you have to concentrate enormously in order to hit the corners well. Milestones

OLYMPIC WINTER GAMES
Won the first-ever Winter Youth Olympic Games women’s monobob gold medal in 2016 in Lillehammer, with the fastest starts (5.77/ 5.80 seconds) in both runs, finishing 0.24 seconds ahead of Mercedes Schulte of Austria in second. Only 0.04 seconds separated the top four athletes after the first run.

WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS
In 2021, won the bronze medal in monobob in the discipline's debut season.

Two-time Junior World Championships medallist (2021 gold, 2018 silver) and two-time U23 Junior World Championships medallist (2018 gold, 2019 silver) - all in the two-woman bob.

WORLD CUP
In her first race on the senior World Cup circuit in 2019/20, she and brakewoman Deborah Levi made the podium in third place in Winterberg. A week later in La Plagne, the tandem recorded their first World Cup victory.
