2008
Started with running, then cross-country skiing. Took up biathlon in 2006.
Was noticed by a coach. "When I skied for the first time, I fell in love with this sport." (roll.sohu.com, 10 Apr 2012)
"Although we could not test our abilities after the (Beijing 2022) test events were cancelled, all athletes were still driven to get the best out of ourselves, to keep in shape, and stay competitive." (beijing2022.cn, 9 January 2021)
Finishing sixth in the Hochfilzen sprint in December 2011. "During the game, the wind was particularly strong and it affected the performance of many athletes. But by my time, the wind just stopped. Because there was no wind, my gun played very well, 10 rounds and 10 hits. When the shot was finished, I ranked third among all 95 athletes. I was very excited, and I was so happy that I was caught up by other athletes in the later sliding, and I finally got tied for sixth, but still created my best result. This is the first time that I have been shooting in all competitions in so many years." (roll.sohu.com, 10 Apr 2012)
Cross-country skier and biathlete Wang Chunli (CHN), two-time Olympian and two-time Asian Winter Games gold medallist. "I still feel that there is a big gap between me and Wang Chunli. The competition experience, the stability of sliding, and the love of skiing are all things I need to learn." (roll.sohu.com, 10 Apr 2012)
