"As I liked painting, I was always with paints and in paints. My mother got worried about my health, she was telling me that I was pale, often got sick and that it's necessary to introduce me to sports. Once my father met [coach] Oleksandr Kravchenko who worked at a sports school, and I was sent to training at once." (biathlon.com.ua, 3 Dec 2012)
Win another Olympic medal before retiring, hopefully, an individual one. (sport.ua, 19 Sep 2020)
Trained separately from the national team. Continued to work with former national coach Uros Velepec (SLO) who returned to Slovenia. Training with the Slovenian team allowed her to better prepare for the season having no problems with travelling to international competitions during the pandemic. (sport.ua, 19 Sep 2020)
Her first podium finish, after winning individual bronze at the 2009 Junior European Championships in Ufa. "I couldn't even believe it. It was a lot of emotions and impressions. After this prize, I realised what a pedestal is, I liked it, and I understood what I was running for." (biathlon.com.ua, 3 Dec 2012)
Eight-time Olympic biathlon gold medallist and 20-time World Champion, Ole Einar Bjoerndalen (NOR). "I always dreamed of meeting him. A very nice and open person, he even came up to congratulate me on a prize. I could hardly contain my emotions." (sport.ua, 17 Feb 2014)
"When everyone says that nothing will work out, then I want to prove, first of all to myself, that you can still do it, that it will work out anyway." (biathlon.com.ua, 3 Dec 2012)
