Brother Christian Gow (Biathlon): PyeongChang 2018 Olympian, finishing 11th in the relay with brother Scott. World Championship relay bronze medallist in 2016 (Oslo) alongside Scott, with a best individual result of 11th in the 2021 mass start, his sixth championship appearance. Two World Cup top-10 individual finishes, with another 18 in relays.

The pandemic did not have a major impact on their training, as most training sessions take place outside. Rules were introduced to not share spotting scopes or rifle stands. Unable to enter the fitness rooms until later summer. (biathlonworld.com, 16 Sep 2020)

Milestones

PyeongChang 2018 Olympian, competing alongside his brother Christian. Finished 11th in the relay, with Christian handing off to Scott for the first two legs. Scott was the only member of the team to shoot clean.

World Championship relay bronze medallist in 2016 (Oslo), with one top-20 individual finish in 20 races over seven championship appearances.

One World Cup top-10 individual placing, finishing 10th at the Oestersund mass start in March 2021, the last race of the season.

Finished ninth overall in the individual during the 2013/14 IBU Cup season. Had won IBU Cup podium, a third-place finish at the Obertilliach sprint in December 2014, finishing only 1.6 seconds behind the winner, Baptiste Jouty (FRA).

Youth World Championship relay silver medallist in 2009 (Canmore). Competed at five consecutive Youth/Junior championships (2007-2011), for four top-10 individual finishes.
