General Interest

COVID-19
In March 2021, on the last day of the Nove Mesto World Cup, Sweden's coach Mattias Nilsson (SWE) tested positive for COVID-19 and the entire coaching staff was quarantined. Alongside Gabriel Stegmayr, Brorsson had to take over the coaching duties for the mixed relays. Sweden finished third in the mixed relay and first in the single mixed relay. "It was clear that it is very special, but we take this very seriously. We see it as our chance to show what we stand so. We are such a good team, we can handle this stuff." (tellerreport.com, 14 Mar 2021)

MOTHER FIGURE
As the oldest biathlete on the Swedish team, she sees herself as the "mother" of the team. "I look at the team like a mother. They are my little children and I am proud of them." (biathlonworld.com, 2020)

CHILDHOOD
Grew up in Koppom in Vaermland. Attended Stjerneskolan in Torsby, a sports high school specialising in biathlon. Graduated in 2010 in social studies.
