Summer 2019: Contracted pneumonia which required a longer break from training.

After moving to London at age five, he became an avid swimmer, triathlete and footballer. The family returned to Switzerland three years later and he returned to skiing. He then took up biathlon in 2009.
The combination of endurance, strength and precision grabbed him from the start.
Win Olympic gold.
