Brother Roman Pryma (Biathlon): Salt Lake City 2002 Olympian, finishing seventh in the relay. Two World Championship appearances (2001, 2009), competing in four races in 2009, including finishing fifth in the relay. Raced at the World Cup from 2001-12, finishing fifth in the relay four times. Three IBU Cup podiums. Became a coach with the national team.

Winning pursuit gold at the 2021 European Championships in Duszniki Zdroj. "From the last standing I knew that if I shot fast, I would have a chance for the podium. I had a penalty loop, but I also saw that the opponents missed. I left the stadium just behind the Czech (Michal Krcmar) and was able to overtake him until the finish line." (xc-ski.de, 30 Jan 2021)
