Cross-country skiing: Competed at the 2015 Norwegian National Junior Championships, finishing 49th in the 15km Free. Competed in multiple FIS-sanctioned races across Norway and Sweden with two top-15 finishes.

Started biathlon at age 10 in Skatval, Norway after accidentally finding a biathlon course.

After switching from Norway to Belgium she continued to train under Emil Hegle Svendsen (NOR) in the private team Mesterbakeren until 2021. From the 2021/22 season, she switched to Team Maxim.

Milestones

Appeared at the 2020 and 2021 World Championships achieving the 15th rank in the single mixed relay and 36th in the pursuit as her top results, both in 2021.

Started competing for Belgium in 2019, in the World Cup in 2020. In the 2020/2021 season, she collected points in three individual races placing in the top forty and finished 83rd in the total score. She had a couple of good results in relays, most notably with Florent Claude in the single mixed relay placing 9th in Nove Mesto in Mar 2021, the best relay result for Belgium ever.

She represented Norway in Youth/Junior World championships, European Championships and the IBU cup, have been with the Norwegian Biathlon Federation's junior national team for three years and one year with the ladies B-team. Her best result was a 4th place in individual at the 2013 Youth World Championships in Obertilliach and in the relay at the 2014 Junior World Championships in Presque Isle, ME. In 2018, she took gold in the relay at the Norwegian Championships.

With 90% Lie was the best markswoman in the 2020/2021 season in the World Cup.
