2019/20 season: Frequently ill and weakened by problems with her immune system.
A sore throat meant she was unable to compete in the 7.5km sprint at the 2017 World Cup event in PyeongChang. (fondoitalia.it, 02 Mar 2017)
2008
Started with Alpine skiing. Switched to cross-country at the age of 5 and took up biathlon in 2000.
"It is a very popular sport where I'm from. I originally played football, but once I tried biathlon I fell in love with it." (fondoitalia.it, 25 Aug 2016)
Going to her second Olympic Winter Games: "Obviously it would be my dream, and it was also one of the reasons why I wanted to continue, because I knew there were the Olympics. I still see myself running a relay or, to say, even a sprint." (biathlonazzurro.it, 24 Dec 2021)
Training with Marco Selle after having been downgraded from the A-team in 2021: "I was very happy because he is a trusted person and I already knew a little about his training program. For me he has always been a great reference and, over the years, we have remained in wonderful relationships. He comes from the bottom but he knows what he can do in biathlon and he knows what he feels like as an athlete. And in any case, cross-country skiing is also part of this sport. As a level or points of the program let's say that I trust blindly." (biathlonazzurro.it, 24 Dec 2021)
Finishing second in the 7.5km sprint at the 2015/16 World Cup event in Oestersund and finishing fifth in the 7.5km sprint at the 2017 World Championships in Hochfilzen, Austria. (Athlete, 12 Feb 2018)
