Began with polyathlon (shooting, pulling up, skiing) at the Children's and Youth Sports School in Veliky Ustyug in 2006 at age 15. She took up biathlon in 2009 in St. Petersburg.
Polyathlon was not recognised as a sport elsewhere.
Represent Korea at the Beijing 2022 Olympic Winter Games.
