Started cross-country skiing with her parents at an early age, joining SC Valdigne Mont Blanc. Switched to biathlon in 2009.
"My ski club organized a biathlon race in honour of my uncle, so I decided to participate. I tried to shoot and I immediately liked it. I was immediately fascinated by the shooting phase, something that every child likes. I immediately liked the unpredictability. Anything can always happen." (fondoitalia.it, 16 Mar 2017)
Winning sprint gold and pursuit silver medal at the 2017 Junior World Championship in Brezno. "It took me a while to believe it. Having started with number 24, I was forced to wait for the results of many opponents. It took me a long time to realise. Later I got on the podium and experienced the emotion of the Italian anthem. I absolutely never imagined winning two medals. My goal was to get into the top-10, but I went beyond my expectations." (fondoitalia.it, 16 Mar 2017)
Biathlete and teammate Lisa Vittozzi (ITA), PyeongChang 2018 Olympic mixed relay bronze medallist and four-time World Championship medallist. (fondoitalia.it, 16 Mar 2017)
"Surely you have to follow an athlete's lifestyle and consequently make some sacrifices, but honestly I don't mind." (fondoitalia.it, 16 Mar 2017)
