"The most important lesson for me was the need to plan the race. The pace at the World Cup is higher than at the IBU Cup or Junior Cup, so you need to start with a solid plan and stay focused. When faster rivals are running nearby, you cannot give in to impulse and accelerate ahead of time. Here you need to be able to conserve strength until the last round. Tactics are very important at the World Cup." (biathlonworld.com, 18 Jun 2021)
