Wife Mariya Kruchova (Biathlon): Represented Ukraine at three Youth/Junior World Championships (2012, 2015-16), finishing the junior relay in the top six twice. Had one IBU Junior Cup win in 2015 (Martell sprint) and one IBU Cup podium in 2019 (Lenzerheide mixed relay). Competed in one World Cup race at Soldier Hollow in January 2019.
Sister Tatiana Loginova (Winter triathlon): Silver medallist at the 2012 Junior World Championships, and gold medallist at the 2012 Junior European Championships.
Ex-wife Margarita Yarostova (Biathlon, Cross-country): Master of Sports. Russian junior champion in biathlon. Two-time European Championship bronze medallist in cross-country.

2009
Started biathlon in 2005 as he entered the Children's Youth School of the Olympic Reserve in his hometown. Within one year, he became a candidate for master of sports in biathlon and cross-country skiing.
Enjoyed watching biathlon on television and liked skiing.
Has been training personally with Alexander Kasperovich (RUS) for several years. Started training with the Bulgarian national team before the 2020/21 season. (sportsdaily.ru, 2 Apr 2021)
