Started skiing as a child in the Alps. Began cross-country skiing at age eight at Club des Sports Les Saisies in Savoie. Took up biathlon in 2009, focusing on the sport from the age 16 (sports-lessaisies.com, 2015; biathlonresults.com, 2017).

Winning the title in the single mixed relay with Antonin Guigonnat at the 2021 World Championships in Pokljuka: "I still have a little trouble realizing. It’s going so fast. Milestones

Silver medallist in mixed relay at the Beijing 2022 Olympic Winter Games. Was nominated for PyeongChang 2018 as a reserve.

Won the single mixed relay at the 2021 World Championships in Pokljuka, with teammate Antonin Guigonnat, 2.8 seconds ahead of Norway's Johannes Thingnes Boe and Tiril Eckhoff.

Finished the 2019/20 World Cup season in the top-10 in the overall, sprint and pursuit, after her first podium in Oestersund (individual) and first win in Kontiolahti (pursuit).

Two mass start wins in 2020/21 helped her finish third overall in the discipline, five points behind winner Ingrid Landmark Tandrevold (NOR) and two behind Franziska Preuss (GER), who Simon beat in Oberhof by 3.9 seconds. Had her second win a week later in Antholz, edging Hanna Oeberg (SWE) at the line (0.2 seconds), with Lisa Theresa Hauser (AUT) by only 3.3 behind that.

Has nine IBU Cup podiums, including two wins in the sprint and single mixed relay. Had two top-six discipline finishes.

Three-time European Championship medallist, winning single mixed relay silver (2018), relay bronze (2015) and pursuit bronze (2018), after winning junior pursuit gold in 2016.

Junior World Championship relay gold medallist in 2015 (Minsk), after winning the youth relay in 2014 (Presque Isle), where she also won pursuit bronze.
