January 2021: Tested positive for COVID-19 at the World Cup in Oberhof. Had to be quarantined in her hotel alongside her Bulgarian teammates and technical officials. Returned to competition in February at the World Championships in Pokljuka.

Summer 2019: Severe cranial injury after a bicycle accident and was immobilised for 20 days. Fully recovered for the season opener in late November at Oestersund.

Milestones

At the 2018 Olympic Winter Games in PyeongChang, she was 72nd in the sprint, 53rd in the individual, 16th in the relay and 17th in the mixed relay.

She was selected for her first world championships in 2015 in Kontiolahti and continued to compete at the World until 2021. At the 2020 World Championships in Antholz, she took 36th place in the individual, which brought her her first points for the World Cup. She also started at European Championships achieving the best results in 2019 in Minsk, placing 16th in the individual and 6th in the mixed relay.

Joined the World Cup for the first time in 2014 and became a regular in the 2017/2018 season, though still starting in IBU Cup occasionally.

Competed 2010-2014 in Youth/Junior World Championships and in the 2012 Youth Olympic Winter Games in Innsbruck.
