Partner Milena Todorova (Biathlon): PyeongChang 2018 Bulgarian Olympian, finishing 84th in the sprint. Competed at the past three World Championships (2019-21) with two top-20 individual finishes. Triple medallist at the 2020 Junior World Championships with one silver (individual) and two bronze medals (sprint, pursuit).

January 2021: Quarantined for two weeks after his teammate and partner Milena Todorova (BUL) tested positive for COVID-19. Missed the second Oberhof World Cup stage and Antholz, before returning at the European Championships in Duszniki Zdroj.

Milestones

Represented Bulgaria in three Olympic Winter Games (2010, 2014, 2018), with his best result individually in 2018 as 19th in the individual.

Appeared at World Championships since 2007 reporting three top-10 rankings, both individually and in relays. In Oestersund in 2019, he won a surprise silver medal in the individual. He also medaled at European Championships claiming one gold (2017 in the sprint) and two bronze.

He had his first full season in the World Cup in 2008/09. He finished his best season in 2014/15 as 25th in the total score. Over the years he achieved a number of top-10 placings individually as well as in relays.

Competed internationally as a junior since 2004, from the following year also regularly at Youth/Junior World and European Championships, where he reported several top-20 and two top-10 results.
