Started skiing at age six and competed in her youth. Took up biathlon in 2008 in junior high school.
One of her coaches practiced biathlon and introduced shooting to her training. She really liked it and thought it was more interesting than just skiing.

Winning her first career gold medal at the 2018 Junior World Championship individual in Otepaeae. "I'm in a great shock. I still don't understand what happened. After such a victory I will definitely be considered a favourite in the next starts. I will impose a little more expectations on myself. But I know it will be hard.
