First podium (third) in the 2017/28 World Cup in Oslo: “It’s quite a different experience from fourth place to third place! I feel like I have been on the edge so many times in the last couple years, that I’m ready to be here. I’m ready to try to do it again in the future." (teamusa.org, 20 Mar 2014)

Her father, cross-country skier Stan Dunklee (USA). "The Olympics were certainly a dream of mine from a young age, and having an Olympian role model to look up to in the family helped that dream seem more attainable. The best advice I've ever received came from my dad: 'Remember to keep it fun!'" (Vermont Sports, Jan/Feb 2018)
“I need balance and I need to use my mind. When training or racing isn’t going well, I need a means of distancing myself from biathlon." (biathlon23.wordpress.com, 4 Apr 2021)
