Milestones

In 2019 he had his first of three appearances at World Championships. However, he could not equal his results in the World Cup with just one individual top 50 individually.

2019/2020 was his first complete season in the World Cup, which he completed as 54th in the total score followed by 59th in the next season. His best result individually came in Dec 2019 with the 16th rank in the sprint in Annecy. With the Czech relay team he had 7 top ten placings coming close to a podium several times.

He was the flag bearer of the Czech team at the European Youth Olympic Festival 2015 and started at the 2016 Winter Youth Olympic Games in Lillehammer with top twenty results in all his races. He participated in four Youth / Junior championships (2016-2020). In 2020 in Lenzerheide, he won the silver medal after a flawless shooting. In summer biathlon, he took two gold at the 2018 Junior World Championships in his native Nove Mesto in relay and sprint.
