Winning sprint silver at the PyeongChang 2018 Olympic Winter Games. "I don't know what to say. I'm absolutely taken aback. I will try to summarise it simply. I was on the podium in the World Cup only once in my life, I was eighth-best in the sprint and now I suddenly have Olympic silver. I know the Olympics are full of surprises, but this is something incredible. Not so much joy prevails in me as gratitude and satisfaction for the whole team." (irozhlas.cz, 11 Feb 2018)
Eight-time Olympic biathlon gold medallist and 20-time world champion, Ole Einar Bjoerndalen (NOR). Former French biathlete Raphael Poiree, 8-time World Champion and Olympic medallist.
