Told her parents at age three she wanted to be a biathlete and began competing in 2006. Her father built a biathlon course on a plot at her home in Aamot when she was 12-years-old. (skisport.no, Apr 2021)

Competing at her first World Championships in 2021 (Pokljuka) and was part of the gold medal relay team. "This was well above my expectations. I was not even sure I would be part of the team, but I got to compete in all of the four individual events, as well as the relay event. And that went very well.
