Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing and management from the University of Eastern Finland in Joensuu. Started studying in 2014 and is working towards a master's degree.

January 2019: Food poisoning, missing the World Cup in Antholz.

Started biathlon in 2007 in her hometown Joutsa.
Inspired by her younger brother, soon realising that biathlon was much more interesting.
Compete at the Beijing 2022 Olympic Winter Games.
"We have quite a good situation in Finland and I have been able to train almost normally. Due to corona, we haven’t been able to travel for high altitude camps but other than that it has been nice to stay home more than normal.
