Partner Markus Vuorela (Cross-country skiing): Represented Finland at the 2021 World Championships in Oberstdorf, finishing 28th in the 15km Free. Competed at two U23 World Championships (2017-19) with two top-20 finishes, and the 2016 Junior World Championships, where he finished fourth in the relay. Competed at the World Cup since 2018, with four top-10 finishes (three in relays). Third in the 15km Classic at the 2020 National Championships.
Cross-country skiing: Finished 14th in the 30km Free at the 2021 National Championships, after not starting on two previous occasions.
Shooting: Several Finnish Youth Championship medals.
2017 IBU Cup in Martell (Sprint - 48th/44th, Pursuit - 40th)
2017 World Cup in Oslo (Sprint - 102nd)
March 2021: Food poisoning. Missed the final World Cup stage in Oestersund with other athletes in the Finnish team.
December 2020: Infection and was hospitalized in Austria for three weeks.
September 2020: Myocarditis (inflammation of the heart muscle), returning to training in October.
August 2020: Stress fracture in right foot.
April 2020: Inflammation in left leg, requiring surgery.
2017-18: Three ankle surgeries leading to a break of 1.5 years. Returned to competition in November 2018 at the Idre IBU Cup.

Began cross-country skiing and shooting in 2004. Started biathlon seriously in 2010.
