Sister Miriam Rees (Biathlon, Cross-country skiing): Competed regionally in cross-country skiing and biathlon as a youth and later in cross-country on a local level..
Cross-country skiing: Competed at four World Military Championships (2014, 2016-18), with two top-30 finishes in the 10km Free Mass Start.

Started cross-country skiing in 2000 before switching to biathlon in 2005 and beginning competition two years later. Attended the ski boarding school in Furtwangen until his graduation in 2011 (zoll.de, May 2021)
