December 2021: Limited due to a cold to start the season. Returned too early and fell in Oberhof sprint in January 2022. Did not finish the race and missed the next stage in Ruhpolding.

After breaking her leg while downhill skiing at the age of five, she preferred to try cross-country skiing, football and jiu-jitsu. "I did almost every sport until I was 11. But then I stuck to cross-country skiing and switched to biathlon when I was fourteen." (zoll.de, 2022)
At the age of about 13, she was introduced to air rifle test shooting at her sports club training group. She enjoyed it so much that she started biathlon straight away. "The combination of running and shooting is just incredibly exciting. Anything can happen until the end. I also like the variety of training, especially in the summer. "A typical training day isn't exactly exciting, it really consists only of eating, sleeping and training. The main unit usually takes place in the morning, I always sleep a bit at noon before continuing with the second unit in the afternoon.
