Began skiing at age four before starting biathlon in 2009.

Incorporated yoga into her daily training routine due to COVID-19 restrictions. Continued to train on the advice of her online teacher as she prepared for the upcoming season. Winning mixed relay silver at the 2021 World Championships in Pokljuka, her first senior medal. "Today was just great. I made it through the shooting range without a mistake and had a really good move on the track. Today was one of my best relay races.
