Father Christian Schwaiger (Alpine skiing): Ski professional in the United States and Japan. Head coach of the British ski team from 1998 to 2006. Held various positions with the German Ski Federation (DSV) from 2006, becoming the men's national head coach in 2019.

Partner Bernhard Leitinger (Biathlon): Competed at five Youth/Junior World Championships, finishing fourth at the 2010 junior relay. Two IBU Cup podium finishes in 2012, as well as a fourth (0.2 seconds behind). Diagnosed with lymph gland cancer in January 2015, returning in November 2016, before retiring in 2019.

Milestones

WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS
Finished 10th in the individual at her sixth World Championships in 2021 (Pokljuka), having not finished better than 47th in her past eight championship races.

Dual gold medallist at the 2018 World Military Championships, winning the 7.5km team and the 15km patrol race.

Seven-time Youth/Junior World Championship medallist, with one gold, three silver, and three bronze medals. Won the youth individual in 2014 more than one minute ahead of Lisa Vittozzi (ITA).

WORLD CUP
Three World Cup top-10 finishes, with her first in February 2019 at the Canmore short individual (10th). Improved in 2020/21, with two ninth-place finishes in the sprint (Oberhof, Nove Mesto).

Finished the 2017/18 IBU Cup season 15th overall, which included her only win at the Khanty sprint in March. Had two more podium finishes, with one in the previous two seasons.
