General Interest

MISFORTUNE
Arriving at the standing shooting inside the top-10, during the sprint at the 2019 World Championships in Oestersund, she accidentally shot perfectly on the range beside her. Her crossfire counted as five mistakes, resulting in five penalty loops. This dropped her position to 70th and resulted in her failing to qualify for the pursuit. (wintersport.news, 9 Mar 2019)

TRAINING GROUP
Prior to the 2016/17 season, she joined a training group called 'Biathlon Forge', which trained independently from the national team. The group was formed by teammate Simon Eder's father Alfred and Hauser's long-time coach Sandra Flunger. When the group was disbanded in 2018, Hauser rejoined the national team. (kurier.at, 9 Dec 2016)

FAIR PLAY
During the mass start at the Oberhof World Cup in January 2017, Hauser accidentally stepped on Vanessa Hinz's (GER) stick. Hauser proceeded to pass one of her sticks onto Hinz. Hauser later fell during the downhill portion of the track and decided to withdraw. For this act, Hauser was awarded the Fair Play Prize of German Sports by the German Olympic Sports Confederation (DOSB) and the Association of German Sports Journalists (VDS).
