Husband Benjamin Eder (Biathlon): Austrian biathlete. Competed during the 2000/01 World Cup season. Participated at the 2000 Junior World Championships in Hochfilzen with two top-five finishes. Served as manager of the Austria national team, and a Belarus team official.

Cross-country skiing: Competed at two Olympic Games (2014, 2018), finishing fifth in the team sprint at PyeongChang. Three U23 World Championship sprint medals, winning gold in 2010 ahead of biathlon convert Denise Herrmann (GER), silver (2009) and bronze (2008). Finished eighth in the sprint at the 2017 World Championships in Lahti. Three National Championship podiums (2009, 2011).

INSPIRATION
Dedicated her victory at the Oslo pursuit in March 2017 to Finnish shooting coach Asko Nuutinen, who died the evening before. "Today I did as he has taught me to do. I was thinking about him, I honour him with this victory." (biathlonworld.com, 16 May 2017)

YOUTH DEVELOPMENT
Founder of the 'Be a Champion with ME' program, which provides support to children involved in biathlon and cross-country skiing in Finland. "I got the idea from looking back at the early years in my career and seeing how much I struggled to find my own way to the top. Milestones

Three-time Olympian. Youngest Finnish biathlete at Vancouver 2010 (22 years 96 days). Also competed in cross-country skiing at Sochi 2014 and PyeongChang 2018.

Competed at 12 World Championships, with three top-20 individual finishes in 28 races. Best placing of fourth at the 2017 individual in Hochfilzen (only result in top-10). Summer Biathlon World Championship mixed relay gold medallist in 2016 (Otepaeae).

Two career World Cup wins in March 2017 (both in Olso). Won the sprint followed by the pursuit the next day, with Justine Braisaz (FRA) on the podium both times. First and other only World Cup podium was at the Kontilahti sprint in March 2014.

Junior European Championship pursuit gold medallist in 2006 (Arber). Competed at four Youth/Junior World Championships with six top-seven finishes.
