2018
Started biathlon in 2012 in Minsk.
Became a biathlete by accident. He went with friends for the company and liked it. "Before biathlon, I went in for swimming for four years. Probably, would have continued, but our group was disbanded, there was no opportunity to train further. At one time I played basketball and then did not do anything for about a year. I decided to go to the biathlon section with my friends." (sb.by, 4 Oct 2018)
"The (COVID-19) virus did not affect the training plan, but prevented us from going to the mountains." (biathlon23.wordpress.com, 20 Aug 2020)
Finishing third in the relay at his first Youth World Championships in 2017 (Brezno), competing at his first World Cup in Nove Mesto, and winning three medals (two gold) at the 2018 Summer World Championships in Minsk. (ya-trener.ru, 2019)
Biathlete Emil Hegle Svendsen (NOR), four-time Olympic gold medallist and 12-time world champion.
"At each start I try to show my maximum, and after the races you analyze what was missing and how it can be corrected." (ya-trener.ru, 2019)
