Sister Irina Kruchinkina (Biathlon): Master of Sports of Russia. Russian junior, switching nationalities to Belarus in 2018 and competing at three successive World Championships (2019-2021). One IBU Cup podium in November 2018, finishing second in the Idre sprint.

Started biathlon in 2009.
Began working with a new team of coaches. "The workouts are actually quite different. A lot of work on skiing technique, special exercises for shooting training. Winning pursuit gold at the 2020 European Championships in Minsk. “I was very happy to reach the finish line with the flag, it was a special moment. This is only my second clean shooting performance in the last 10 years, so I'm very happy." (biathlonworld.com, 1 Mar 2020)
