"Gwyneth is the best female talent that Luxembourg skiing has ever had. A lot comes together for her that makes a good skier: Talent, a lot of ski training in good structures at the age of 16, a strong physique that she is conscientiously building up, a lot of passion for her sport and a family environment with dedicated support as well as the head and the intelligence to implement all of that." OLYMPIC SEND-OFF
In January, her classmates gave her a big Olympic-like send-off to the Olympic Winter Games in Beijing. She is handling classes while ski racing. "It's complicated, but I manage to manage everything with teachers who help me a lot." (lavenir.net, 27 Jan 2022; Facebook; lessentiel.lu, 28 Dec 2021)

Milestones

The 2021/22 Olympic season is the first for her to compete in international races. In her first international race on 18 November 2021 in Livigno, she finished 21st in slalom dropping her FIS race points from 999 to 78.94 in the race.

In her first season racing internationally, her top place finishes came in two FIS CIT races at Alpe Cermis (ITA) where she finished fourth in slalom and ninth in giant slalom in December 2021.

Her best FIS points finishes came in two giant slalom races in Italy in January 2022 where she finished 16th in Kronplatz and 24th in Possa di Fassa.
