17 January 2021: Ruptured the anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) in her left knee in a World Cup giant slalom in Kranjska Gora, ending her 2020/21 season. Both of her parents were skiers and her mother was a ski racer. They would go on family vacations from The Netherlands to Austria to ski.
