24 March 2019:

Tore the anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) and tibial collateral ligament of her right knee in the slalom at the Swiss national championships in Hoch-Ybrig, one day after she won the giant slalom title over veteran Wendy Holdener. Ended her 2018/19 season and she missed the entire 2019/20 season before returning to competition in October 2020.

“During this famous slalom where I hurt myself, I almost had a little overconfidence. The feeling was great and I was really happy with my title the day before. I also finished sixth in slalom at the European Cup finals. Maybe I wanted too much. It is often said that an injury happens when it has to happen. I had to accept it. But I admit that the knee injury was easier to manage than the mononucleosis, because you have a scale of what you can do. A mono is day to day, you can't plan anything." (Athlete, 22 Nov 2021; lenouvelliste.ch, 11 Aug 2020)

2017: After a 2016/17 season where she had a top-10 World Cup finish at the age of 17, she contracted mononucleosis. Started the next season on the Europa Cup in December 2017. "Mono was a warning signal from my body to tell me to calm things down. Because I was running a lot at that time between the junior competitions, the European Cup and the World Cup.” (lenouvelliste.ch, 11 Aug 2020)
