February 2020: Cut on his lower left leg that required surgery. Missed the giant slalom and slalom World Cup races in Niigata Yuzawa Naeba, but was back racing a week later in Hinterstoder. (archyde.com, 21 Feb 2020)

December 2016: Tore the lateral meniscus in his right knee. Underwent surgery and returned to competition six weeks later. (skiracing.com, 20 Aug 2017)

2015

His parents introduced him to skiing at the age of two. At first, he didn't want to start competing because skiing for fun was perfect. But after trying one day at the ski club, he didn't want to stop. His parents would make the two-hour drive from their home in Neuchatel to the Valais region for skiing to support their children's ski racing. But at the age of 12, they moved to Heremence to be closer to skiing. "It’s since then that I have wanted to push my limits on the skis and always improve in order to reach the best level." "I am very demanding and critical of myself, I try to improve myself on every detail. The praise, whether it comes from the media or from other skiers, is obviously nice, but I know it won't make me ski any faster.
