Her passion for skiing began at a young age. She learned from her mother in her second winter in La Berra. Her mother and older brother and sister all skied competitively. Her first racing season was 2005/06 when she was third in the Friborg Cup. (noemiekolly.ch)

Scoring her first World Cup points (top-30), finishing 29th in the Garmisch-Partenkirchen downhill in January 2019 in what was her very first World Cup. "It is magic. No, really, I can't say anything more. I'm just so happy. Even though I know I still have a lot to learn from the girls in front of me, who have a lot more experience.
