3 April 2018: Tore anterior cruciate ligament (ACL)in her left knee as a result of a downhill training accident at the Swiss national championships. She chose to not undergo surgery and to take a conservative approach to recovery since she did not tear the meniscus or the posterior cruciate ligament. Returned to racing in November 2018, just six months later, with strong results in the Lake Louise World Cup downhills. (blick.ch, 3 Feb 2020; sport.ch, 27 Nov 2018)
